Assymmetic in form, one side at a slant, the mirror frame is made from jigsaw shaped pieces of birch plywood cut with a bandsaw, stained in reds and mounted onto ply, the edges stained black. The mirror is also asymmetric in shape and set between a playful hinged hand and face profile (also in pieced jigsaw ply). I've taken lots of photos as there are so many ways to style this - the face and hand are stained black on the back, casting a shadow-like reflection on the mirror. The mirror is signed by the artist. Heavy, over 2kg.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCondition: Generally in good - very good \u003c\/span\u003econdition with some light wear: some wear to edges, one thin loss of edge to bottom right corner, showing wood colour below, some scuffs and scratches and a few small dings, some very tiny occasional little chips of loss where one piece of jigsaw joins another (very difficult to spot), slight unevenness to the colour stain application, lots of the irregularities and imperfections are because it has been hand made, some light marks which could be part of the staining.
