Shipping policy

Condition 

Please be aware that all of our items are vintage. Imperfections are to be expected due to the age of each product. 

Please read the condition within the product description and click on the photos to maximise them to give you a clearer understanding. 

If you would like more images of a particular item or have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us using the contact form. A condition report with further details can be provided for each item on request.

Standard delivery

Postage is calculated separately for each item based on size, weight and value.

Small items under £50 in value will be sent Royal Mail 48 hour tracked. 

Small items under £100 in value will be sent Royal Mail 48 hour tracked and signed for. 

Small items over £100 will be sent Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Larger and heavier items over £100 will be sent with Parcelforce 24.

Parcels will be shipped within 5 working days unless otherwise stated. If you urgently need your item, please get in touch and we will do everything we can to get it to you sooner. 

Oversized delivery

If your item is too big for Royal Mail or Parcelforce it will be sent with a specialist courier.

Combined postage

We will automatically refund the difference in postage after purchase (once costs calculated) if items can be packaged safely together. Please contact us via studio@studiosale.uk for combined postage quotes. 

Free local collection

All items can be collected for free from East Edinburgh, usually within 5 days. Please email studio@studiosale.uk for more information.

International shipping

Unfortunately at this time we cannot accommodate international shipping. However, we are working towards making this an available option.

Dispatch time

We will dispatch items within 5 working days unless otherwise stated on the banner at the top of the webpage.

Return

If you are not completely happy with your purchase please reach out to us via email within 48 hrs of receiving your order. 

Please send detailed images of both the item and packaging if damage has occurred in transport and please retain the item and packaging until the issue has been resolved with studio sale. 

The item must be returned to us within 14 days of the order being made and in its original condition. 

We ask that you look carefully at the pictures and description of the item prior to purchase, the items are vintage and do tend have some imperfections.

Please note we cannot refund the shipping costs or cover the cost of the return shipping. 

Packaging

We prioritise reusing packaging and making a strong and safe parcel over aesthetics so sometimes the parcels are not as nice looking as the objects! We are working on using less plastic tape and wrapping alongside recycled card and paper.
