A 'Teabowl' handmade teapot designed in 1984 by Carsten Jorgensen for Bodum Switzerland. Polished stainless steel with brass ball finials and brass screws, cone shaped lid, black beech wood handle (which folds inside the rim of the teapot), tripod feet. Large removable tea diffuser for loose leaf tea. Please see photos and condition description.
Size: 23cm wide to spout. 22cms tall including handle
Condition: very light scuffs to handle; a small patch of wear to handle; light general scratches and scuffs internally and externally to stainless steel; the spout has a line of darkened tarnish (possibly tannin, I haven't tried to clean this) on either side where the spout meets the body; slight separation between top left weld of spout (doesn't affect shape or pouring ability); slight mishape to tea diffuser and it is missing it's original wire handle (has separated at welds) generally in good vintage condition.
