A large 20th century collectable Copernican armillary sphere representing the celestial movements of the solar system. A sculptural steel frame supporting nine moveable steel hoops with a central brass sphere and brass finials. Raised on three splayed hinged tripod legs. In full working order and in good vintage condition with some surface age wear and patination. Please see photos and condition description.
Size: 63cms tall approx., 32cms wide. Weighs just over 3kg.
Condition: Some age wear, uncleaned and unpolished. some general light tarnish and patina variations, some tiny light rust spots, some tarnish and rust to the tripod stand, otherwise in good vintage robust condition with no loss or damage.
