A vintage chunky hand sand cast aluminium photo frame with gecko motifs in relief. Lots of lovely sand cast imperfections, shape irregularities and tool marks. The raised gecko motifs are surrounded by blackened etched marks, the rest of the frame is polished in contrast. The back has a steel rod stand which can be inserted to orient the frame portrait or landscape. Sorry postcard not included. Please see photos and condition description.
Size: overall 18.5cms wide, 22.5cms tall (when portrait), 1.5cms deep approximately. The glazed window is 9cms x 13.5cms approximately.
Condition: Roughly sand cast with lots of casting, shape and finish imperfections and irregularities; occasional light marks, tarnish, light scratches and scuffs; the glass has slightly uneven edges (not visible when assembled).
