Authentic vintage Kuba tribal cloth raffia textile Congo wall hanging

A charming vintage raffia cloth hand stitched Congolese Kuba cloth which could be used as a wall hanging or runner. The raffia is hand dyed with natural dyes, this is in subtle browns with stitched/embroidered appliqué geometric motifs. Please see photos and condition description. 

Size: 145cms long approx, 47cms wide approx.

Condition: Generally in good condition. Handmade with irregularities and slightly roughly stitched and put together. Roughly cut and frayed top and bottom edge, some slipped stitched, some pulled and frayed stitching, a few little marks to one side (pictured in photo 16). Edges and shape slightly organic. Some colour variation. Otherwise good.
