A scarce salt cellar with spoon designed as part of the Opasis line by Italian modernist artist and furniture designer Enzo Mari (1932–2020) for Zani & Zani (Serafino Zani) in 1986. The design features a hemisphere shaped 18/10 stainless steel bowl resting on a three legged tripod base with a curved structural handle and architectural silhouette. The form speaks directly to Mari’s uncompromising design philosophy: stripping away all unnecessary ornamentation to reveal the absolute purest, most logical expression of the object. Stamped "Enzo Mari per Zani&Zani" to inside of handle. Please see photos and condition description.
Size: 8cms tall, 6cms wide approximately. Spoon is 10cms long.
Condition: A little scratched and scuffed otherwise in very good vintage condition with original spoon.
