Charming brutalist style large sculptural candle holder depicting a stylised horse with spiral details on a plinth base. Made from welded, folded and forged steel with a dark brown patina. Pricket top. Some wonderful handmade irregularities and some crude welding, naive and raw. Sorry candle not included. Age and history unknown, assumed vintage. Size: 30.5cms tall, 21cms at widest, 9cms wide at base approx.
Condition: Some slight patina irregularities and loss of patina in patches, small light mottled rust spots and handmade imperfections (roughly welded sand with raw edges, some slight wonkiness), one of the welds is missing from a foot at the base, this does not affect the stability of the candle holder and is only noticeable on very close inspection, please see photos). Otherwise in good condition.
