Charming carved and incised abstract form relief in the style of Ben Nicholson in an oak box frame glazed and painted internally in a grey blue wash (made by the artist). Signed Eric Ritchie 1970 verso, Scottish School.
Size: 25 x 9.5 x 3cms approximately.
Condition: In obviously hand made condition with some irregularities and quirks. Frame in good condition, the nails used at the corners have rusted and created some small dark streaks to oak. The back shows some slightly crude carpentry, the handing screws and string have been added recently. Sticker remains and marks to back. Some tiny dents to oak frame. Otherwise generally in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
