A set of 4 vintage Ikea 1980s Kräsen candle holders designed by Ehlén Johansson. Brass (or brass coloured metal) candle holders on shaped steel rod fixed into a square Swedish white veined grey granite base. These candle holders are part of the experimental "Tomorrow Collection" produced by Ehlen Johansson for Ikea in the late eighties/early nineties. Please see photos and condition description.
Size: The taller candle holders are 38cms high approx, the base is approx. 6cms wide. Heavy, each weighs approx 550g.
Condition: Brass candle holders a little tarnished and worn, I have not tried to clean these and am not sure if they are solid brass or not. The steel rods have some light rust and age darkening, one of them is a little out of shape and leans a little at the top. The granite bases are roughly cut and there are some chips to extremities, two of the candle bases have the little silicone feet missing. Otherwise in good vintage condition.
