Wonderful Arts and Crafts/art nouveau style embossed repousee pewter picture photo frame with spiral designs and inscribed circular lines, along with 4 x blue glass Ruskin cabochons with slight iridescence. Handmade and designed by the sculptor Sasha Bowles in the 1990s. These were sold in Heals and Liberty of London. Pewter front with stained wood back. The frame can be used portrait or landscape orientation. Sorry postcard not included. Some light wear, please see photos and condition description.
Size: The overall size is 25.5cms x 20.5cms x 1.7cms and the picture window is 11.5cms x 16.5cms (sizes approximate).
Condition: Some light tarnish, dulling, light scratches and a few small dents to pewter surface. A few light scratches to wood. A couple of the little tabs that fix the backing board in place are missing, this doesn't affect the stability of the frame. Some lovely handmade irregularities and imperfections. Otherwise in good vintage condition.
