Incredible large artist made forged steel sculptural centrepiece bowl. Wavy steel rod with welded ball finials and spiral detailing. Quite naive in form and construction but robust. Sprayed purple. Lemons for scale. Artist and history unknown. Please see photos and condition description.
Size: 40cms at widest, 23cms tall approx.
Condition: Very handmade in finish, quite rough with lots of irregularities and imperfections and shape asymmetry. The surface of the forged steel has been sprayed purple, paint finish quite uneven and colour uneven. Some chips, paint loss and wear, some scratches, very light rust in spots of paint loss. Otherwise in good vintage condition.
