Charming hand made artisan made small mirror in Arts & Crafts metalwork style. Welded and pieced copper and steel solder folded around a wood back with mirror and oversized green glass Ruskin cabochon with steel wire detail. A really wonderful piece. Sourced in Scotland. Age and history unknown but assuming recent vintage, 00s. Please see photos and condition description.
Size: Overall size is 22.5 x 17.5 x 1.5cms and the mirror is 11.5 x 6.5cms approx.
Condition: Rather crudely made and welded, the welded areas rather rough, the corners are folded metal around wood, slightly roughly done. The welded area around the cabochon has colour variation in the metal solder. Some lights scratches and dents to the metal, otherwise in good overall condition.
