A whimsical vintage photo frame consisting of two pieces of glass held by a stylised hand cast polished aluminium figure and head. Can be oriented portrait or landscape (postcards not included). Impressed verso. Carrol Boyes (1954-2019) was a South African artist known for her playful 'functional art' sculptural homeware. Please see photos and condition description.
Size: Overall size when constructed is 19cms tall when in portrait orientation and 14.5cms tall when in landscape (including head), glass is 17 x 12cms.
Condition: Some casting irregularities and hand finished marks, some light scratches and scuffs to polished aluminium, otherwise in very good vintage condition.
