A wonderful handmade mirror with cut copper frame etched or patinated with a painterly star motif. Great mark making, gestural and with wiping and finger marks to resemble an etching plate. Please see photos and condition description.
Size: 30cms wide, the mirror glass is 17cms wide approx. Weighs 1150g.
Condition: Handmade imperfections and irregularities; the copper has a slightly raw and uneven edge; lots of surface imperfections, verdigris, marks, scratches and scuffs; fine scratches to surface of glass and some tiny foxed spots on the back of the mirror glass; back neatly finished with felt but a little worn; otherwise in good vintage condition.
