A set of 5 wonderful modernist three dimensional shapes made as teaching aids in the Czech Republic in the 1950s. The set includes a cube, a cuboid, a tetrahedron, a rhomboid and a 6 sided pyramid. Each is made from steel wire/rods, welded together by hand and powder coated in dark red paint, the original paint which has aged over time. These little sculptural objects look wonderful in still life arrangements or stylist props.
Size: The pyramid is 6cms tall and 4cms wide, the cuboid 7 x 5 x 2.5 and the cube is 5cms square (approximate measurements).
Condition: A little time worn with scuffs and chips (quite noticeable around the corners) to the paint, adding to the charm! Some slight colour variation in the set, all dark red, some slightly darker than others. Please see photos.
